Cheyne Waldron

Cheyne became a partner at Bailey Ingham Ltd in 2005. He joined Bailey Ingham fresh out of Otorohanga College in 1992 and worked part time for the firm while attending Waikato University from 1993 to 1996.

Cheyne values the strong community spirit of Ōtorohanga and enjoys working closely with local business owners and farmers… “Otorohanga was a wonderful place to grow up, go to college as well as a great place to live and bring up our children. We are proud to call it home”.

His main interests and areas of strength include advising clients on taxation and business structuring, including companies, limited partnerships and family trusts. He enjoys seeing his clients succeed and assisting with farm succession and the sale and purchase of businesses and farms.

Outside of work, Cheyne enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and their six children, catching up with friends, spending time on his lifestyle block and at the beach, and is often found on the football field either playing or supporting from the sidelines. He is particularly excited about the upcoming FIFA World Cup and has already blocked off his diary for the times when New Zealand and England are playing, so don’t try to ring him then!
